Lens fiber, also known as optical fiber lens or optical fiber microlens. Such lensed fiber is processed into a lens shape at the end surface of the optical fiber. And the function of lens fiber is to change the optical path or mode conversion in the optical fiber or optical system so as to improve the system coupling efficiency.

2. Tapered Lensed Fiber
Application:
Coupling of LD, DFB, SLD laser and VCSEL with circular or nearly circular output beam cross section. It can also be used in medical laser microsurgery and microillumination.
Features:
Grind the conical surface with a certain angle at the front end of the optical fiber as required. And grind the spherical surface with a certain radius of curvature at the front end of the conical surface as required.

3. Wedge Lensed Fiber
Application:
LD laser coupling with elliptical output beam cross section.
Features:
Grind the double inclined plane with a certain included angle at the front end of the optical fiber as required. And grind the cylindrical surface with a certain radius of curvature at the front end of the double inclined plane as required.
Shape the beam emitted from the optical fiber into an ellipse or change the receiving spot of the optical fiber from a circle to an ellipse.

4、 Lensed Fiber

Medical endoscopes, semiconductor laser coupling, ultra-micro device packaging, photoelectric converter, optical sensing,

5、 Angled Ball Lensed Fiber
Application:
Medical endoscopes, optical coupling, photoelectric converter, PLC, OCT, optical sensing, optical illumination.
Features:
Small volume, short light path, light weight, easy to mass production and packaging.
The equipment used to produce the above five kinds of optical fibers is design & built in-house within Optizone by our R & D department. And it can be modified according to different product structures as well as produce optical fibers with various requirements.
The optical fiber processed has high precision, with angle error within 1 degree, dimensional error controlled within 1 micron, end face quality is good with no visible scratches & pits under the 400 times end detector.
Optizone Technology uses magnetron sputtering to coat the lens fiber. Compared with the chemical coating method, its advantage is that the adhesion of the film is stronger and the tensile test after welding is greater than 10N.
Better uniformity, obvious pinholes and protrusions can be seen in the chemical coating under the 60x microscope, while there are no pinholes and protrusions in magnetron sputtering.
Magnetron sputtering coating method has no secondary pollution because the vacuum is always maintained during the production process; There are many kinds of metal coatings. Typical coatings include Cr, Ti, Ni and Au. Mixed coating can also be carried out, such as Ni and Au mixing, Ti and Au and Cr mixing, etc.
